Covid Precautions for the Daniel O’Connell School 2021
We are delighted to welcome you all to this year’s Daniel O Connell School. Both days in Cahersiveen and Derrynane will operate at a reduced capacity due to current Government Covid- 19 event guidelines.
Please note: An EU Digital Certificate is required for all attendees entering the Ring of Kerry Hotel and Derrynane House (Av room and Marquee). Evidence of a certificate may be requested on arrival at either venue.
In order to keep everyone safe, the Committee advises you not to attend the School if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 (see www.hse.ie). In this scenario, tickets will be fully refundable.
The Venues will be fully sanitised in advance of the event. Committee members will be present to assist at all times.
Face coverings MUST be worn at all times except when eating and drinking.
When you book your ticket you are required to provide your full name, contact number, email address and other Covid-19 related information for contact tracing purposes. This information will be held for one month only at which point it will be permanently discarded.
To further ensure your safety and that of the staff, we ask that when queuing to enter the venue you remain at least 2 metres apart from the person in front of you as we check-in and seat people.
Hand sanitising stations are available on entry and more throughout the venue.
All high touch areas are disinfected on a regular basis as are the toilets.
All staff will be wearing face masks and will be adhering to our strict company Covid-19 policies to ensure their safety and that of our guests.
Your safety is paramount and the steps we are taking will ensure that everyone can enjoy the School.

- Current capacity is limited.
- The Purchaser and/or holder of a ticket acknowledges that neither the venue nor the organising committee bears any responsibility whatsoever should the purchaser of the ticket and/ or ticket holder become infected with a contagious illness whilst attending the event for which ticket has been purchased.
