Professor Brendan Kelly will speak on the Cahersiveen-born Ada English, member of the Second Dáil and pioneer of public health in Ireland. Brendan is a Professor of Psychiatry at Trinity College and a Consultant Psychiatrist at Tallaght University Hospital.

He is the author of Ada English: Patriot and Psychiatrist and In Search of Madness: A Psychiatrist's Travels Through the History of Mental Illness.
