Billy O'Connell is a general practitioner and a native of Cahersiveen. He played football with St Mary's, the Kerry Minors, UCC and the Kingdom in London. He was the medical doctor to the Clare football team under their legendary Kerry managers, Paudie O'Shea and Mick O'Dwyer.
