Dr Jane Moore is Reader Emerita in English Literature at Cardiff University. She began her academic career at Trinity College Dublin and has since held visiting fellowships at both Trinity and Marsh’s Library, Dublin.
In 2025, she was awarded the Albi Rosenthal Visiting Fellowship in Music at the Bodleian Library, Oxford. She is the editor of The Satires of Thomas Moore (Pickering & Chatto, 2003) and the author of numerous articles on Moore’s lyrics and satires.
She has recently completed her monograph, The Surface Romanticism of Thomas Moore: Poetry, Sociability, and Song in the Romantic Period.
