Enda Delaney is Professor of Modern History at the University of Edinburgh. He is the author or editor of nine books on the history of modern Ireland and the Irish global diaspora, including The Irish in Post-War Britain (2007), The Great Irish Famine: A History in Four Lives (2014) and Making Ireland Modern: The Transformation of Society and Culture (2025).
He is currently writing a history of the global Irish diaspora from the early eighteenth century to the present day for Pan Macmillan.
